DESCRIPTION:
This could be my favorite project and place to visit. Glacier is truly a magical destination nestled in the northern Cascade Mountains on your way to Mt. Baker Ski area. The cabin sits on a slopped site so I designed a 3 story cabin that incorporates a daylight basement butting up to an exposed board formed concrete retaining wall. For the design I wanted you to feel like you are in a tree house with big windows that let the trees come inside and topped off with a covered rooftop deck with cedar couch and firepit to cozy up to.
